It doesn’t matter if you’re booking us for your big party weekend wedding or wild adventure weekday wedding, I will tell your story well, and in a way that is real and genuine. I thrive on capturing emotions that can be felt for generations. I work in a way that is more lifestyle-based – intent on capturing moments and emotions – as opposed to posed photos that would leave you feeling nothing when it was all said and done. I am an explorer and have an endless list of locations that I’ve fallen in love with. At these locations, you can have a family-accessible wedding with the choice of cascading cliffs or serene valleys in Palo Duro Canyon. When you book me as your photographer, you’re also booking my vast knowledge of beautiful and unique places.

My vision for your family-friendly canyon outdoor wedding is full of tents, private moments between you and your loved ones after you put your dress on, vows read in front of those who matter most in your life, toasts, dancing, and smores. My most favorite moments are when everyone is hanging out by the fire under Texas stars where you can hear the coyotes echoing through the valley.

I will come alongside you to map out the dream wedding your heart desires. We will fill out a questionnaire that covers the deep questions about who you are as a couple, what’s most important to you and what your vision is as a couple to join yourselves as one.

Listen, your wedding day isn’t just about showing up at one of your top 5 venue picks (ones you didn’t truly want to begin with) for a ceremony and some portraits in a location that isn’t ideal or what you had originally envisioned.

It’s waking up to eat breakfast or having brunch with your favorite people, it’s about getting ready in your bridal tent. It’s the butterflies you get when you walk out and see all your loved ones there to support you. It’s putting the ring on your partner’s finger. It’s the deep and meaningful vows you commit to one another. It’s the first champagne toast and first dance under the Texas stars. It’s cuddling up with a fleece blanket right next to the fire talking about how you’re so happy you did it your way and not obligated to put on a huge production for other people, because right about now, a wedding planner would be whisking you two away for a garter toss that doesn’t have any meaning to you.

This is not the typical staged, forced-smile photo session where you try to jam a whole day’s worth.

• Any larger weddings must be planned through the park superintendent. There may be a fee charged for use of certain areas of the park. I will help with the contact of the superintendent.
• Small elopements and weddings do not have to be planned through the superintendent and there is not a fee except the entrance fee.
• Pets are allowed in the park but must be on a leash and attended at all times.
• There is no public consumption and/or display of alcohol (can, bottle, cup or any other container) permitted in campsites or day-use areas. Violation of this law results in a Class C Misdemeanor.
• I’d suggest welches sparkling juice for toastings.
• We leave no trace. What this means is we avoid leaving trash behind, stepping on plants & cactus, or harming the canyon in any way.
• Your wedding or elopement can not block trails or access to any facilities.
