It was Solar Eclipse Monday August 21, 2017 when we first met…. I was headed to my hometown just south of Nashville to meet my dad at a car dealership to see if I could test drive a few cars. My dad told me that he has an amazing “car guy” that was working numbers already on a few vehicles that I may be interested. So since it was a very historical day, and most businesses in my town were closed (because the majority of the population in my area were going to be outside watching the eclipse) it was the perfect time to go. When I pulled up my dad proceeded to introduce me to this tall, green eyed, charismatic man. I was confused since I was NOT expecting this fine tall drink of water. I was expecting, well you know a typical stereotypical “car sales guy.”

Bryan and I hit it off from the start. He said come one lets go for a ride in the gold cart to look at a few cars, it was like we were 16 and 17 again. By the of the day, I was leaving with a brand new car, a giddy laugh and a phone number. The next morning I texted Bryan and told him I couldn’t get my XM radio to work, listen I’m not daft, I know all you have to do is call the 1-800 number to switch to the new car but since I secretly wanted to see him again I asked him to help me. So he said come on back to the dealership and I’ll help you. So I went, next the you know he’s giving giving me butterflies. The next day, I got a call from my dad and he said so I just got a call from Bryan (the car guy) and he’s asking me if it would be ok if he could take you out to dinner… I MEAN WHO DOES THIS at 35 years old. My man does! I said if you think he’s a good man and trust him then ok I’ll go.

That Friday I met him for a casual dinner and fell in love that very night with him. Four and a half years later, we are finally Husband and Wife. We always say it was written in the stars, because we did meet on the very day when the sun and moon aligned… I’m pretty sure that was the day he stole my heart.

Our most favorite part of our Palo Duro Canyon Wedding was shooting our first look with Brit with Texas Adventure Elopements. The adventure, the views and to feel freely in love in the canyon was so special.
